IS420UCSBH4A is an available controller for GE Mark VIe systems. This is one of the last Speedtronic systems released by GE to manage industrial gas and steam turbines. IS420UCSBH4A is one of the five UCSB controllers available in the Mark VIe system. It is a quad core controller that provides high performance and optimum reliability. The device is built around the QNX Neutrino operating system, which runs on the 1066 MHz Intel EP80,579 microprocessor. The system uses Boolean logic control block language in relay ladder diagram format. This format supports Boolean logic, 16 – and 32-bit signed and unsigned integers, and 32-bit and 64 bit floating-point programming.
IS420UCSBH4A weighs 2.4 pounds and is designed to operate in ambient temperatures of – 22 to+149 degrees Fahrenheit.
IS420UCSBH4A can support interoperable redundant configurations with different platform types, and work together in the redundancy set. This means that if a controller group fails, the operator can replace it with the same or different supported controller types while the process is running without losing factory control. IS420UCSBH4A is compatible with UCSCH2A controllers.
