The PLC shall be far away from strong interference sources such as electric welding machines, high-power silicon rectifier devices and large power equipment, and shall not be installed in the same switchgear with high-voltage electrical appliances. The PLC in the cabinet shall be away from the power line (the distance between them shall be more than 200 mm). Inductive loads installed in the same cabinet with PLC, such as the coils of high-power relays and contactors, should be connected in parallel with RC arc suppression circuit.

The input and output of PLC should be wired separately, and the switching value and analog value should also be laid separately. The transmission of analog signal shall adopt shielded wire, and the shielding layer shall be grounded at one or both ends, with grounding resistance
