Working process: mainly divided into internal processing, communication operation, input processing, program execution and output processing.

Internal processing stage:

At this stage, the PLC checks whether the hardware of the CPU module is normal, resets the monitoring timer, and completes some other internal work.

Communication service stage

At this stage, the PLC communicates with some intelligent modules, responds to the commands typed by the programmer, updates the display contents of the programmer, etc. When the PLC is in the stop state, only content processing and communication operations are carried out.

Input processing

Input processing is also called input sampling. At this stage, the on-off status of all input terminals is read in sequence, and the read information is stored in the corresponding image register in the memory. Here, the input image register is refreshed, and then the program enters the execution phase.
