When writing a user program or selecting a device, you must be clear about the three stages described below, namely, the principle of the user program execution process.
The PLC adopts the centralized processing method, that is, the input scanning signal, the execution of user program and the output refresh all adopt the centralized batch processing method.
Input scanning In this stage, the PLC reads the input signals on all input terminals in scanning mode, and stores the input signals in the input image area, and the input image memory is refreshed. In the program execution phase and the output refresh phase, the input image memory is isolated from the outside world, and its content remains unchanged until the input scan phase of the next scan cycle, and the input signal that is re-read is refreshed. It can be seen that the PLC does not directly use the current input signal on the site when executing the program and processing the data, but uses the data input into the image area during this sampling. If the input device can make the PLC input end form a closed circuit, the internal input relay corresponding to the input end number is saved as “1”, which is equivalent to the relay coil conduction. During program execution, the contact corresponding to this number acts; If the input device can open the input, the internal input relay corresponding to the input terminal number is saved as “0”, which means that the relay coil is not connected, and the corresponding contact of the number does not act during the program execution. If the PLC is in the non-input scanning stage, the status of the input equipment outside the PLC changes, and the internal input relay will not change. It will not be refreshed according to the current input status until the next input scanning stage. Therefore, input signals less than 10 milliseconds are often not collected.
