Description

Analyze the process and working characteristics of the controlled object in detail, understand the coordination between the machine, electricity and fluid of the controlled object, put forward the control requirements of the controlled object on the PLC control system, determine the control scheme, and draw up the design assignment.

Identify input/output devices

According to the control requirements of the system, determine all input equipment (such as buttons, position switches, change-over switches and various sensors) and output equipment (such as contactors, solenoid valves, signal indicators and other actuators) required by the system, so as to determine the input/output equipment related to the PLC, and determine the I/O points of the PLC.

Select PLC

PLC selection includes the selection of PLC model, capacity, I/O module, power supply, etc. See Section II of this chapter for details.

Assign I/O points and design PLC peripheral hardware circuit

Assign I/O points

Draw the connection diagram or corresponding relationship table between PLC I/O points and input/output equipment, which can also be carried out in step 2.

Design PLC peripheral hardware circuit

Draw the electrical circuit diagram of other parts of the system, including the main circuit and the control circuit not entering the PLC.

The electrical schematic diagram of the system is composed of PLC I/O connection diagram and PLC peripheral electrical circuit diagram. So far, the hardware electrical circuit of the system has been determined.
