The traditional computer control system generally adopts DCS structure. In DCS, point-to-point connection is required for field signals, and I/O terminals are placed in the control cabinet together with PLC or automation instruments, rather than in the field. In FCS, with the help of fieldbus technology, all I/O modules are placed on the industrial site, and all signals are converted into standard digital signals on the site through distributed intelligent I/O modules. Only one cable can connect all field sub-stations, and then the field signals can be easily transmitted to the monitoring equipment in the control room, reducing the cost and facilitating installation and maintenance, At the same time, digital data transmission makes the system have high transmission speed and strong anti-interference ability.
FCS is open. In FCS, software and hardware comply with the same standards, with good interchangeability and easy replacement.
