Input wiring

● Input wiring shall not be too long. However, if the environmental interference is small and the voltage drop is small, the input wiring can be appropriately longer.

● Input/output lines cannot use the same cable, and input/output lines shall be separated.

● Connect to the input terminal in the form of normally open contact as far as possible to make the ladder diagram prepared consistent with the relay schematic diagram for easy reading.

Output connection

● Output terminal wiring is divided into independent output and common output. In different groups, different types and voltage levels of output voltage can be used. However, the output in the same group can only use the power supply of the same type and voltage level.

● Since the output components of PLC are packaged on the printed circuit board and connected to the terminal board, if the load connecting the output components is short circuited, the printed circuit board will be burned.

● When relay output is adopted, the size of inductive load it bears will affect the service life of the relay. Therefore, when using inductive load, it should be reasonably selected or an isolation relay should be added.

● The output load of PLC may cause interference, so measures shall be taken to control, such as continuous current tube protection for DC output, resistance capacitance absorption circuit for AC output, and bypass resistance protection for transistor and bidirectional thyristor output.
