The DS200SIOBG1AAA GE I/O Control Board features twenty jumpers and three switch blocks with six switches in each, one LED and one 40-pin connector. Configuration settings can be defined for the specific requirements of the site with use of the switches and jumpers. Prior to its installation you can set the switches and jumpers to configure the board. The printed information that is shipped with the original board will provide the appropriate guidance to installation and information about the switches and jumpers and what configuration modifications can be made.

Take care when changing the position of a jumper by using your thumb and forefinger to remove the jumper from two pins and insert the jumper over the two pins you want to cover. This same process will apply to the switch. To change the position of a switch, use a finger to change the position of the rocker switch. Since the room to manuever is limited, consider using a pen, small screwdriver, or other slender object to press the rocker switch so as not to accidentally change the position of the switches located around it.

The ribbon cables carry multiple small wires that are used for signals that are transmitted from the board to other components in the drive.
