The QuickPanel+ operator interface is an all-in-one microcomputer designed for maximumflexibility. The design, based on an advanced ARM core microprocessor, brings together ahigh-resolution touch-screen operator interface with a variety of communications options. Youcan connect to most industrial equipment through the QuickPanel+ communications ports.The QuickPanel+ is equipped with several memory types to satisfy the most demandingapplications. A 512MB section of DRAM is split between the operating system, an objectstore and application memory. Functioning as a virtual hard drive, a 256MB section of non-volatile flash memory is divided between the operating system and persistent storage forapplication programs. The IC754CSL12CTD is a QuickPanel+ operator interface all-in-one microcomputer created for flexibility by GE. The combination of a high-resolution touch-screen operator interface with a wide range of communication ports is based on an advanced ARM core microprocessor. For satisfaction of the most demanding applications, the IC754CSL12CTD is equipped with several memory types such as RAM, ROM, and SRAM. The display is a 7” Widescreen TFT LCD with a resolution of 800(W) x 480(H) pixels WVGA. The IC754CSL12CTD has input power consisting +30VDC maximum rated voltage with a maximum voltage of 15W. The touch-screen display is designed with two-point touch. The technology based on projected capacitance allows tracking of the finger without pressured contact.

The IC754CSL12CTD is equipped with a 10BaseT/100-BaseTX Ethernet port for connection using an Ethernet network cable. The cable will attach to the unit via the RJ-45 connector on the bottom of the enclosure. The channel status is indicated by the LED indicators on the port. The IC754CSL12CTD has two full USB 2.0 host ports. There are several USB peripheral devices offered, and each requires a specific driver. The one driver that is supplied to the IC754CSL12CTD is designed for keyboard or mouse support, which is optional. Other devices will require installation of custom software.

For powering up to the IC754CSL12CTD, a connection to a DC power supply using the quick-connect plug is required. Depending on the application, there may be a need to connect and configure optional devices such as communication ports or expansion adapters. Initializing will begin once power is applied.
