IS215ACLEH1B is a Mark VI Speedtronic Application Control Layer module developed by GE. This is a master controller that uses communication protocols like Ethernet and ISBus to control multiple applications within the control system. These components are occasionally seen in EX2100 exciters.

The IS215ACLEH1B has a front faceplate connected to it. Multiple connectors are installed on the faceplate’s surface. Female COM ports, Ethernet ports, and ISBus ports with built-in LED indicators are among them. A single reset switch, two sets of LED indicators (one for status indications and the other for various states), and two set screws help secure the board in place after it has been placed into a rack system is also included.
A central processor unit, a PCI controller, and a 128 KB level 2 cache are all included in the IS215ACLEH1B. Using the BIOS setup utility, the board has 4 MB of flash memory.
The keyboard controller and an adapter cable can be used to connect the module to a keyboard. Some variants of the board include a daughterboard that extends the module’s capabilities even further.
