The IS220PIOAH1A is a pack component manufactured by GE for the Mark VI and the Mark VIe systems. Both of these systems are designed with integrated hardware and software and are used to manage heavy-duty steam and gas turbines.

The IS220PIOAH1A is a Communications Bridge I/O pack. Unlike most I/O packs, this component does not have an associated terminal board. However, the JPDV board is its associated interface PCB. I/O packs are mounted on their associated boards to perform extra processes, like algorithmic computations and the digitization of sensor signals. This allows algorithms to run at faster speeds. The component also communicates with the controller board within the main processor. The I/O has its own processor board installed within its casing. This processor runs on a QNX OS with a 32-bit RISC CPU 266 MHz.

The IS220PIOAH1A is built with dual 100 MB Ethernet ports. The case also has a power port. Power for the component is rated at 28 V dc (typical.) There is also an onboard ambient temperature sensor that will alarm if excessive temperature is noted. The operating temperature of the component is -30 C to 65 C. It is rated Class 1, Div. 2.
