Description
Tricon control system is the most advanced fault-tolerant controller based on Triple Module Redundancy (TMR) structure. It integrates three-way isolation, parallel control system and independent diagnostic circuit into one system, and provides highly perfect, error-free and uninterrupted process control by using two-out-of-three voting method, which will not lead to system effectiveness due to single point failure.
Tricon system is certified by TUV AK6, NFPA72, FM, CSA, etc., and is applicable to key control and safety protection systems of various scales.

The TriBus communication bus is used for the communication between the Tricon # 8120E enhanced mainframe and the main processor # 3009, and its speed is 1000Mbps.
Tricon communication module TCM
The Tricon communication card TCM can support the communication between Tricon and TriStation, other Tricon and Trident systems, network devices and Modbus master and slave devices.
Each TCM module includes four serial ports, two Ethernet ports and one diagnostic port. Each Tricon system can support up to four communication cards, which are placed in two logical slots.
The two Ethernet ports are NET1 and NET2 respectively. NET1 supports TCP/IP, TSAA, TRICON controller point-to-point communication protocol and clock synchronization protocol; NET2 port supports TCP/IP, TSAA and Modbus TCP protocols.
